Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has appointed a Slippery Rock University graduate to a seat on the university’s council of trustees.
Joshua Young graduated from SRU in 2004 and is currently a township commissioner in Chester County.
This is the second appointment to the council for Young. He was first appointed by former Governor Ed Rendell in 2007 at the age of 25. Three years later, he became the youngest chair of the trustees in the state system of higher education.
Young is a full-time mechanic and assists in the operation of his family’s auto repair and towing company in West Chester.
