A Slippery Rock University graduate was one of the police officers injured in the shooting Saturday at a synagogue in Squirrel Hill.
Pittsburgh Police Officer Anthony Burke is continuing to recover from wounds inflicted while responding.
Burke is a member of the SRU class of 2013.
SRU President William Behre tweeted Monday and asked ‘Rock Nation’ to keep Officer Burke in their thoughts.
