The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Edmonton Oilers 6-5 in overtime last night. Sidney Crosby scored his first two goals of the season, including the game-winner in the extra period. Winger Patric Hornqvist and defenseman Jamie Oleksiak also had two goals in the game. Goaltender Matt Murray stopped 41 of 46 shots on goal for the Pens.
The victory moved the Pens into a second place tie with Washington in the Metropolitan Division. Both are one point behind first-place Carolina. The Penguins visit Calgary Thursday.
