New court documents in the case of a Butler County native accused of killing her co-worker in Florida reveals the suspect has allegedly admitted to being on the run from the FBI for the past 25 years.
Kimberly Kessler disappeared from Butler County years ago. She’s been charged with killing Florida mother Joleen Cummings earlier this year.
WJAX-TV in Florida is reporting investigators spoke to a woman who told them Kessler admitted to her that she used to rob banks and had five aliases. Among the physical evidence listed in recently released court documents include a receipt for a zip-tie and the victim’s fingernail.
Cummings’ body hasn’t been found. Kessler remains in jail and investigators have described her as uncooperative.
