The Brewers begin the night 87-66 overall and 2-1/2 games behind the Chicago Cubs in the N.L. Central. They are the top Wild Card in the National League. The Pirates are 77-74 and on a five-game winning streak.
This is the final home-stand of the season for the Bucs, who finish their season on the road to Chicago and Cincinnati next week.
