The Pittsburgh Pirates visit the Milwaukee Brewers tonight. First pitch is 8:10pm. Chris Archer will start for the Bucs, who begin the night 72-73 overall. The Brewers are 84-63 and 1-1/2 games behind the first-place Chicago Cubs in the National League Central. The Pirates and Brewers play at 7:10pm Saturday. WISR pre-game is 6:45pm. Sunday’s game is a 2:10pm start. The Pirates will return home to begin their final homestand Monday against Kansas City.
The Boston Red Sox defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 last night for their 101st victory of the season. The Red Sox are the first team to clinch a playoff spot. They lead the New York Yankees by 10-1/2 games in the A.L. East.
