Hurricane Florence has forced several college teams to cancel games this weekend. West Virginia’s trip to North Carolina State is on hold. It will not be played Saturday. North Carolina’s game with Central Florida has been postponed. East Carolina at Virginia Tech has also been cancelled.
Robert Morris will visit James Madison in a game originally scheduled for Saturday, but the game has been moved to tomorrow night at 7pm in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway are all opening their camping facilities for those displaced by Hurricane Florence evacuations along the coasts of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Nascar begins its post-season with the Round of 16 this weekend in Las Vegas. Kasey Kahne will remain out of the #95 car for the next three races after suffering heat exhaustion in the Darlington race Labor Day weekend.
