The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tennessee Titans Saturday for their third preseason game. Kick-off is 4pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am will be 2pm. A few veterans will make their first appearance of the preseason, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The Steelers have signed veteran kicker Chris Boswell to a new five-year contract worth just under $20 million. They also signed veteran linebacker Vince Williams to a four-year contract worth $20.6 million. They are the only veterans this season to sign new deals. Running back Le’Veon Bell has yet to sign his one-year tender worth $14.55 and report to camp.
Boswell set a Steelers record last season with 35 field goals. Four of those field goals were in the final minute of games over a five-week stretch. Williams finished last season with eight sacks, third-most by a Steelers inside linebacker.
