NASCAR has announced the twenty nominees who will be eligible for the 2019 Hall of Fame Class including five whose names appear on the ballot for the first time: four-time Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon, team owners John Holman and Ralph Moody, title-winning crew chief Kirk Shelmerdine and driver Harry Gant. The list includes fifteen holdovers from the 2018 ballot led by drivers Buddy Baker, Alan Kulwicki and Bobby Labonte; and legendary engine builder Waddell Wilson. The Hall of Fame Voting Panel will convene May 23rd to select the five inductees who will make up the Class of 2019.
