The Butler BlueSox fell to the West Virginia Miners 7-3 in 10-innings last night in the Prospect League. The Miners scored four runs in the top of the 10th to improve their record to 4-3 overall. The Sox fell to 3-4. BlueSox pitchers struck out 10 batters in the game. Ben Hartz started on the mound for the Sox, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out five over five innings.
Butler will host Chillicothe for a two game series beginning tonight at 6:35pm.
