(UPDATE 9:30 a.m.) An overturned tractor trailer caused a big mess Monday morning on Route 422 in Butler Township.
The tractor trailer overturned on Route 422’s westbound exit ramp (the Lyndora exit near Moraine Point Plaza).
The driver was hurt and trapped inside the trailer. Firefighters had to work for over an hour to cut him out.
A medical helicopter was put on stand-by but it’s unclear if he was flown to the hospital.
PennDOT was also notified because of antifreeze and transmission fluid spilled out on the roadway.
The accident cleared at 9:30 a.m.
