The Pennsylvania Game Commission has filed charges against two teenagers from Brookville after they posted videos of themselves abusing a deer to social media last year.
18-year-old Alexander Brock Smith and an unnamed 17-year-old juvenile male will face charges including felony aggravated animal cruelty and felony conspiracy to commit animal cruelty.
The incident occurred November 30th in Jefferson County and the Game Commission immediately launched an investigation after they became aware of the incident through a video on Facebook.
The Northwest Region office of the Game Commission was assisted in this investigation of this incident by the Pennsylvania State Police, local law enforcement, and the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office.
